Huihua obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Technology from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2018 and is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at RPI. She joined the NuCoMP group in the fall of 2020, and her research topic focuses on material transport model development and integration in the System Analysis Module (SAM) code. She is going to add interfacial phenomena models for sink and source terms to SAM code and consider about the reaction kinetics processes and multi-physics processes during the development of the models. Her final goal is to provide the end users with the ability to easily utilize SAM in analyzing various material transport problems in multiple advanced reactor designs.
