Peter graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering at RPI in May 2017 and his Ph.D. in Nuclear Science and Engineering in 2023. He has also earned an A.S. in Engineering Science from Hudson Valley Community College before transferring into the Nuclear Engineering program. His current research focuses on enhancing Monte Carlo modeling workflows using a metamodel driven approach. This work will enable more efficient and powerful workflows for nuclear reactor analysis. Along with research, he is a licensed Senior Reactor Operator and Operations Supervisor at the Walthousen Reactor Critical Facility.
